The best golf resorts in Spain are likely to go on being successful when it comes to selling Spanish property, it has been suggested.
A Daily Mail feature on golf property in the country commented that there has been an oversupply of such venues, with many of the property developments being of low quality and high density.
However, better courses will still do well, managing director of Carrington Estates Paul Rossiter told the paper.
He said: "Buyers can easily tell the difference between a decent course and a distinctly average one."
Mr Rossiter said good examples of this included discounted, low-density property developments at Marbella Club Golf Resort and neighbouring Monte Mayor.
Last month, David Brice of Golf International praised the quality of Spain's golf resorts
He remarked that the country, along with neighbouring Portugal, possesses "carefully developed golf infrastructures that rank alongside the world's best".
