Rising numbers of tourists visiting the Balearic island of Mallorca could bode well for the property industry in the area, it has been suggested.
Taylor Wimpey de Espana drew attention to figures published by Palma International Airport, which showed the travel hub saw record numbers of passengers arriving at the weekend.
In fact, 160,000 people passed through the airport in a single day on Saturday (August 6th).
Sales and marketing director at the company Ignacio Osle stated that combining all of Mallorca's attractions with "ever-improving airport service and facilities" will encourage more people to visit the island this summer and in the future.
And the firm highlighted some of the new developments set to open here later in the year, which could provide the ideal bolthole for people seeking a property in Spain.
Earlier this week, managing director of A Place in the Sun Andy Bridge commented that there a many houses and flats available in the country at affordable prices that are, in most cases, at their lowest levels for over a decade.
