Property investors could be encouraged to think about some of Spain's lesser-known destinations following the comments of one holiday company.
Spain-holiday.com has recommended that travellers take the time to explore some of the country's other "culturally-rich cities" which offer "the classic Spanish experiences of balmy climate, vibrant tapas bars and impressive architecture".
In particular, the firm highlights Palma as a great holiday destination that boasts a diverse and
"[It] is famed for its fine Gothic cathedral, art galleries, music festivals and wonderful mix of city and beach life," Spain-holiday.com states.
"The city boasts glamorous yacht clubs, sophisticated bars - including Abaco, housed in an ornate mansion - and the trendy port areas of Portixol and El Molinar."
Alternatively, Salamanca is Spain’s oldest university city with a vast student population, an eclectic collection of bars and interesting Baroque architecture.
The news could tempt a number of buy-to-let investors to look at property in Spain, with the intention of capitalising on the country's vast tourism trade.
