The small Spanish town of Moraira has much to offer Brits looking to buy property in Spain, it has been suggested.
UK-based investors have been implored to consider the region, which has grown from a small fishing village into a popular and attractive holiday and retirement destination.
Manolo Cabrera, founder of Search & Survey, said that the "quintessentially Spanish" nature of the resort meant that it has been gathering a great deal of interest from Brits over the past few years.
"Moraira is a very popular destination for UK consumers who are either considering building or buying a holiday home or retiring in Southern Spain … and there are a variety of plots and villa's in prime locations available, making it a very attractive location for UK buyers," he added.
Within an hour's drive from either Alicante or Valencia airport and boasting 320 days of sunshine a year, the town has an impressive marina, excellent variety of local shops, weekly open markets, harbour-side fish restaurants and bars that offer a distinctly Spanish feel.
