Northern Ireland investors to benefit from extra flights

Overseas property investors in Northern Ireland are set to benefit from a raft of accessibility improvements.
Aer Lingus is establishing a base at Belfast International Airport and rolling out services to places such as Barcelona, Malaga and Rome.
This means that travelling to mainland Europe from the province will be made easier and more affordable for people living in Northern Ireland.
As well as opening up various markets to leisure travellers, the new services may also make them more acccessible to those with property investments in these areas.
Dermot Mannion, chief executive of Aer Lingus, said this marked the beginning of a "new era" for people in the province.
He commented: "We are committed to delivering a combination of low fares and high-value service, something we believe the people of Northern Ireland will appreciate."
Last month, the sector was boosted by easyJet's announcements that it would begin offering passage from Belfast to places such as Faro and Malaga next summer.
