Now is a great time for holidaymakers to take a trip to Spain, those looking to find a home in Murcia may be interested to learn.

According to the country’s tourism office, there are currently a number of great deals for flights to Spain which holidaymakers can take advantage of.

In particular, Carmen Hernandez Gomez, market analyst at the tourism office, said that the Balearic Islands were perfect for individuals looking to go on a short trip away.

"It sure is a great moment, with direct flights from London, Manchester and other airports the Balearics are the perfect spot for a short break. Return flights can be purchased for as little as £30 return in November," she explained.

Meanwhile, figures from the Skyscanner Travel Trends report show that Spain remains the most popular international flight destination among travellers.

Malaga, Tenerife and Alicante hold the top three spots respectively in the study.
