Unemployment in Spain needs to be tackled if the country's economy is to start its recovery, it has been claimed.
This is the view of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), which believes that the labour market is key to reducing some of the country's woes, Reuters reports.
According to the news provider, jobless rates vary widely across Spain's 17 regions, but issues surrounding the Spanish property market are only adding to the problems.
"Spain would benefit in particular now from enhanced geographical mobility of workers," said Anita Woelfl, economist at the OECD.
"It would help to absorb and reallocate the unemployed across sectors and regions and speed up the adjustment of employment to the crisis."
Meanwhile, those interested in buying property in Spain may want to consider looking to see what is available in Murcia.
The area has been enjoying an increased interest from international property investors due to its excellent growth potential and investment credentials, an article from Select Property said.
