Links between Bristol and some of Spain's most popular destinations are set to be improved after Teleticket announced it would introduce new flight routes next year.
The firm is to offer links from Bristol International Airport to Tenerife, Las Palmas and Lanzarote, after travel agents in the south-west called for more frequent flights to the destinations in order to satisfy demand.
Managing director of Teleticket Neil Chapman stated that the firm was "delighted" to be able to offer the new routes, which may be of interest to property investors considering making a purchase in any of the areas.
And Mr Chapman noted that more regular journeys may be made available, stating that further flights could be added "if initial sales are successful".
A recent survey of British expats found that the majority choose to live in Spain because of the warmer weather, with 92 per cent citing this as their main reason for relocating to the country.
