Spain's property market can offer some well-priced deals for Britons and this should continue, an expert has said.
Editor of Spanish property portal Kyero.com Martin Dell said there is evidence that the "decline has stabilised" in prices emanating from the TINSA survey - which he said is Spain's most reliable guide to home values.
Mr Dell revealed that a correspondent had told him that he had bought a reasonably priced rental property in Spain after waiting for the price to drop over the past two years.
However, he suggested, Spain could go on offering bargains due to having a heavily regulated and uncompetitive economy, which he predicted will leave it in the doldrums while its neighbours are recovering.
This could mean lower prices in the country being enjoyed by increasingly wealthy people based elsewhere.
Recently, Mr Dell said that cash buyers are the people likely to find a good deal in Spain.
