Traditionally popular destinations are likely to be popular for British investors again in 2010, it has been claimed.
According to property company Property Frontiers, Brits are currently able to pick up "tremendous value" properties in countries such as Spain or the US.
Christopher Chad, project manager at the company, explains that massive price falls in 2010 will help to attract investment from foreign buyers.
He continued: "I would say that 2010 will see an increasing trend for people looking to buy property in the more traditional investment hotspots.
"It is all about looking at tourism trends and recognising where the most likely capital growth is likely to take place."
The news comes after A Place in the Sun predicted that Spain would be the most popular destination for foreign property investment in the coming year.
Meanwhile, the National Association of Estate Agents International recently recommended that early investment in the country was essential in 2010, to ensure buyers were able to capitalise on bargain properties.
