RELLEU is a small, quite village, nestling in the mountains north-west of Alicante. It offers a peaceful environment in which to absorb the Mediterranean sunshine and breathe fresh mountain air.
Surrounded by almond orchards and olive groves, the village is steeped in history, being originally formed around an ancient Moorish castle. The friendly nature of Relleu's inhabitants is one of its most important characteristics, and will ensure your experience of wandering through the narrow streets of the village, or popping into one of its shops or bars will be a delight.
Living inland doesn't mean you have to give up the beaches. Within a 30 minute drive you will reach the excellent sandy beaches of Benidorm and Villajoyosa. These beaches ar of excellent quality and are equipped with all sorts of accessories such as lifeguards, a Red Cross point, a beach cleaning service, large promenades with restaurants and open air bars and places to rent nautical sports equipment.
In the same area you will find the Ifach Golf Club in Calpe, an excellent 9-hole course open all year round and which is not too hard for beginners. Here you will be able to enjoy the game while admiring the view of the Ifach Rock and the sun sparkling on the Mediterranean Sea.
