The Turkish Aegean coastal resort of Altinkum offers a double incentive to investors, it has been claimed.
According to Didim Today, those hoping to buy overseas property for rental purposes can make the most of the fact that there is both a domestic and an international market for tourist rentals in the area.
This is because the resort is favoured not just by Turkish holidaymakers, but also by tourists flying over from Britain and Germany, it noted.
Akltinkum's attractions are manifold, the paper stated, including historic features like the Temple of Apollon, the current Aqua Water Park, the marina currently under construction and a future planned golf course.
The paper also noted that crime rates are low, as is the cost of living, while English is widely spoken in the area.
Property Abroad recently tipped Altinkum as one of its property hotspots for buyers in 2010, along with fellow Turkish resorts Belek and Dalaman.
