The Turkish property market is emerging as a popular destination for British investors, one expert believes.
Michael Johns, writing for rightmoveabroad.com, states that Brits have Turkey "fixed in their sights" and says the fact that over 13,000 people have already bought a property is proof of this.
He goes on to say that property prices in Turkey are similar to those seen in the emerging Spanish market of 1998.
"With beautiful beaches, a perfect Mediterranean climate, cheap property prices and direct flights out from the UK, it's a wonder why places aren't being snapped up even quicker," he said.
Furthermore, demand from overseas buyers for newly-built properties is "ever increasing", according to Mr Johns.
A recent survey by GfK Turkiye highlighted the country as a dynamic market for investors, with 96 percent of saying that Turkey has "great" market potential.
