Prospective buyers of foreign property were advised by the Telegraph that rental accommodation in areas such Bodrum could be profitable because the country is highly popular with tourists.
This means that there is strong demand for holiday homes in holiday resorts, as well as the possibility of earning high rental returns.
The newspaper added that tourism was also boosting the country's property market, leading to houses increasing in value.
Commenting on the country, the Telegraph said: "Booming tourism and high capital growth mean buy-to-let in Turkey is worth considering."
Earlier this week, Reuters cited data from the Turkish Statistics Institute showing that during the 12 months to October 2007, there was a 25.6 per cent increase in visitor numbers.
Growth in the market will be likely to enhance the appeal of the country among those considering investing in rental property abroad.
