Developer Horizon Sky - which has a construction project in progress on the peninsula - revealed that 400 of its 600 units have already been sold.
It said that this testified to the wide appeal of the resort, which has good beaches, yachting and golf on offer.
The firm also noted that the favourable rate of exchange between the pound and the Turkish lira makes the cost of living low, while those buying at the Horizon Sky resort have been able to do so in sterling.
Another piece of good news for Bodrum is that low-cost airline easyJet has lunched new services to the destination and Horizon stated that it is likely these will be extended next year.
Buying in Turkey could be about to get cheaper still, according to overseas investor magazine BuyAssociation, due to anticipated interest rate cuts that would lower the value of the Lira.
