A homebuyer from the UK has outlined her reasons for purchasing two properties in Turkey.
According to the Independent, Helen Love owns a holiday home and an investment property in the Dalyan region.
Speaking to the newspaper, she said she chose to purchase homes in Turkey because it is relatively cheap in comparison with other European countries.
Ms Love added that it is also a politically stable nation which is currently aiming to become a member of the European Union.
However, she also said that Turkey offers a number of lifestyle attractions, which make it a good place for her family to visit.
She commented: "It's great for holidays, there's a pristine beach and the local people are wonderful."
According to A Place in the Sun Live, British buyers will be required to spent about £300,000 on a typical apartment in London.
However, this "wallet-wincing" sum could be used to secure three much larger properties in prime Turkish locations, such as Bodrum and Dalaman.
