The introduction of new flights to Turkey is set to trigger a new wave of interest in the country among overseas property buyers.
UK-based newspaper the Daily Mail stated that British Airways was planning to launch a new service to the Antalya region on April 10th.
In addition, it said that easyJet would soon begin offering services to the south coast of Turkey in the wake of its purchase of GB Airways.
This, it predicted, was likely to help encourage a larger number of British investors to consider Turkey as a viable market in which to purchase property.
The newspaper added that a new airport was currently being developed in the Gazipasa region.
Although there has been no confirmation what routes will go to and from the facility, the introduction of flights will certainly encourage further interest in the region and other surrounding areas.
This comes after Foreign Property Buyer revealed that Britons accounted for the largest proportion of overseas investors in Turkey.
