Terry McFinney, from East Kilbride in Scotland, told the Sunday Mail that the country was "really becoming popular" with people from the UK.
Speaking to the newspaper, he said this was partly because the country offered the potential for investors to get good returns, as house prices are continuing to rise.
Mr McFinney stated that his own home was now worth about twice the £45,000 he had originally paid for it back in 2002.
However, he urged people looking for similar returns to study the market carefully before making a purchase.
He commented: "Prices are on the increase but you can still find bargains if you do your research properly."
Rhiannon Williamson of ShelterOffshore.com recently said that Turkish real estate professionals are anticipating further growth in the market.
