Turkey offers good investment conditions-220708

House prices in Turkey have been rising consistently over the last 6 years, an expert has stated.

Hisham A Rahman Khalifa, investment banking manager at Shamil Bank, stated that in 2002, the European country went through an economic crisis.

However, he told the Gulf Daily News that it has now overcome these problems and is now doing very well.

This, he said, is particularly apparent in its real estate market, as it has experienced "considerable growth" during the last 6 years.

Mr Khalifa commented: "Unlike other markets, the Turkish real estate market still maintains intrinsic value in ongoing developments and has not reached a stage of over-supply or rampant speculation."

He added that Istanbul and Antalya are 2 of the best-performing areas in the whole country.

According to the Times, Turkey offers relatively low house prices when compared with other parts of Europe, as a residence along the coast can be snapped up for just £35,000.
