A holiday home buyer from the UK has spoken positively of her decision to purchase a residence in Turkey.
Isobel Ferguson, from Deaconsbank, Glasgow, bought a property in the Altinkum region with her husband John late last year.
Speaking to the Sunday Mail, she said she had been drawn to the market by the good value for money it currently offers, as her two-bedroom apartment cost just £32,000.
Ms Ferguson commented: "We didn't want to miss out.
"There's no way you could expect to get a property of such a high standard in Scotland for that kind of money."
She added that Altinkum is a very good location in which to invest, as the market is going from "strength to strength".
This comes soon after Hisham A Rahman Khalifa of Shamil Bank told the Gulf Daily News that house prices in Turkey have risen consistently since 2002.
