Leisure travellers from the UK have been encouraged to consider taking a holiday in Turkey this winter.
According to the Mirror, the European country offers a number of attractions for British visitors, such as good beaches, scenery and culture.
The publication also praised Turkey for offering highly affordable prices, with the price of beer for example just one-third of that in the UK.
Altinkum was highlighted as one good place to visit, as it offers all these qualities, as well as hot and sunny weather in the winter months.
Indeed, the newspaper said temperatures can rise to as high as 24 degrees C.
"With great beaches and delicious food, head for euro-free Turkey," the Mirror commented.
Turkey was recently recommended to winter sun-seekers by Artemis Travel on the strength of its favourable climate.
The organisation added that the country should attract more visitors this year, as the declining British economy is prompting many UK tourists to head to the most affordable locations.
