Turkish investors can capitalise on new flights

New flights to Turkey are testament to the growth potential of tourism in the nation, it has been claimed.

Turkish property agent Spot Blue made the announcement after Easyjet revealed that it would be introducing a new route from Gatwick to the popular destination of Antalya.

Director of the company Julian Walker said: "Given that Antalya villa owners have earned yields of six per cent per year in the last two to three years, the addition of new flights can only boost the potential rental income of Antalya properties.

"As long as new flights continue to be announced quicker and more frequent than new commercial hotel spaces, owners of privately rented holiday property … can continue to rub their hands together."

He noted that the news will also go a long way towards helping Turkey achieve its target of 30 million visitors in 2010.

British property investors can capitalise on the strength of the GBP against the Turkish Lira.
