The property market in Dubai is defying trends in the rest of the world as the market in the emirate continues to soar, it has been stated.
A demonstration of this will come when the Cityscape Dubai 2008 event takes place next month, albawaba.com states.
It said 60,000 participants from 150 different countries will be at the event, held from October 6th to 9th at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.
The group director at Cityscape Conferences, Shabnam Rawal, commented: "You only have to look out of any window to see the astronomical property growth that is transforming cityscapes."
Events held during the expo include the World Architecture Congress, which will be chaired by former London mayor Ken Livingstone.
Those looking for the right sort of Dubai property to invest in may be best buying smaller residential units for renting out, a report has said.
Bahrain-based investment bank Sico has said studios and one-bedroom apartments bring in higher rental yields than other properties, Zawya.com reports.
