UAE recommended to winter tourists

Consumers from the UK who wish to enjoy high temperatures during the winter have been encouraged to visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to the Sun, the Middle Eastern country can be reached by plane in just 7 hours and offers temperatures of up to 38 degrees C.

Dubai was flagged up as one area that offers temperatures along these lines throughout the whole winter seas, along with Abu Dhabi.

The newspaper said the latter destination offers a number of other attractions to visitors, including good beaches and leisure activities such as diving.

"After our hideous summer, many will be looking for a splash of sunshine to get you through the long, cold winter," the Sun commented.

This comes after James Eustace of Medhotels told Travel Weekly that the UAE's accessibility from Europe makes it an "ideal" location for winter holidaymakers to consider.
