Many people in the UK are choosing to pack their bags and relocate to another country, it has been revealed.
According to The Emigration Group, Britons are increasingly looking overseas in order to improve their quality of life and financial situation.
This was said to be partly because of the ongoing problems in the British economy, such as fears over a possible recession.
Paul Arthur, director of the organisation, stated that this trend is particularly apparent in Middle England, as more and more people are leaving well-off commuter towns.
Speaking to the Chester Chronicle, he commented: "The longer this economic climate continues the more people are re-evaluating their position."
He added that the most on the enquiries from prospective expats are coming from affluent areas such as Cheshire.
According to a poll by UKForex, 80% of people who have left Britain are happy living overseas, whereas only 51.8% had been content at home.
