'Good time' to invest in US

The strength of sterling and subsequent weakness of the dollar is making the US ripe for lucrative property investment, offering affordable properties that are on track to appreciate in value in the future.

Emerging markets linked to the dollar offer similarly attractive prospects, according to experts at BuyAssociation, highlighting favourable economic conditions as a key factor.

A strong pound means that UK investors can look towards lucrative medium to long-term investments in the US, whereas a recent slowdown in the US market is working against short-term interests.

Paul Collins of BuyAssociation maintains that the opportunities are there to be taken advantage of.

"If you're looking to buy a holiday home or if you're looking at a medium to long-term investment, then it's absolutely brilliant," he states.

"It's a fantastic time to do it."

HiFX reports that the strength of the pound is making property across the globe more affordable in relative terms, offering benefits for investors looking at established favourites and emerging hotspots alike.
