Property prices in the Florida region of Orlando are currently standing at a 12-year low, those looking at real estate in the US may be interested to know.
Data released by the Orlando Regional Realtor Association has revealed that home prices in the region have fallen eight per cent from July in August and sales prices were down 22 per cent from last year.
Orlando-based British Homes Group, a company set up by British people for Brits considering buying property in Florida, say that many savvy investors are snapping up these bargain properties.
"We have an increasing number of Brits requesting bargain priced holiday homes in Florida," said Lee Weaver of the British Homes Group.
"There's now no need for Brits to buy one of the well publicised re-possessed properties, which may not be in a good state of repair, when they can buy a new property for the same price or less."
