Capitalise on 'bargain' US prices now, investors told
Article Date : 26 January 2011
News Section: USA
Savvy investors have been told to act now if they want to capitalise on the wealth of distressed property available in the US market.
Garrett Kenny, chief executive officer of CB Feltrim, told Overseas Property Professional that the bargain prices seen in the market will not be available for long.
"International buyers who sit on their hands could miss out on the bargain of a lifetime if they don't act now," he explained.
"However these prices won't last forever as property is suddenly starting to look much more desirable in Florida. All the fundamentals for price rises are in place."
Indeed, low interest rates, rising employment and a booming tourism industry are all likely to combine and push prices back upwards.
Economists in the US currently predict that US house prices will bottom this spring before gradually starting to rise in 2012, the news provider added.
The news could inspire a number of potential investors to buy property in the US at these current prices before they start to climb once again.
