Companies involved in property auctions in the USA are increasing their services due to the large number of foreclosures in places like Orlando.
Real estate auction company Hudson and Marshall of Texas has announced that it is to reintroduce its Home Buyer auction programme following the rise in foreclosed (repossessed) property in the area.
The firm said this recent trend has led to many tempting prospects becoming available at low prices, including "upscale homes that are turning buyers' heads".
Such a situation may tempt those looking at investing in US property to explore the Florida market to see what bargains they can find.
Another company involved in auctions in the state - British Homes Group - has said Britons keen on investing in Florida should look to do so now.
Director of operations at the company Lee Weaver recently commented: "In all our years helping UK buyers find Florida dream homes, there has never been a better time for Brits to buy in Florida."
