Florida is 'top US property market'

The state of Florida could provide property investors with strong returns and has been dubbed the "one to watch" by a property investment expert.

According to Adam Samuel, director of Nubricks, while sales levels in the US property market as a whole are depressed, investors are watching the market with baited breath and Florida is one region that stands out from the crowd.

Samuel said: "Florida is the one to watch, but the broader market of the US is still going to take a long time to recover."

He claimed that the state is doing relatively well when compared to the wider US market and foreign buyers are particularly interested at present.

Despite the gloom hanging over the US market as a whole, it looks like there might be light at the end of the tunnel, however.

According to Altos Research, an increasing number of US homeowners are putting their properties up for sale.
