New York still makes for a good place to visit despite the fall in the value of the pound, it has been stated.
In a feature on the Big Apple, the Daily Telegraph said the US city still offers many affordable attractions despite the recent plunge of the pound from around two dollars to USD 1.40.
The paper noted that a city pass can be had for USD 74, (GBP 50), which includes visits to places such as the Empire State Building, as well as recommending free activities like a visit to Central Park.
Those keen on buying in New York may be encouraged by the possibilities that still exist in the city.
Some investors may wish to buy foreclosed property in or near the state, which may be possible at auctions.
Figures from research firm RealtyTrac revealed that the state saw 4,301 foreclosure filings in February.
