Orlando exhibition 'may attract foreclosure investors'

Orlando is to host an event targeted at property investors looking to buying foreclosed homes in the Florida city, it has been announced.

Taking place at the International Plaza Resort & Spa on February 7th and 8th next year, the Orlando Foreclosures Expo will bring together investors and homeowners facing foreclosure, as well as real estate brokers, agents and wholesalers.

Event founder Phil Peachey explained that the event "will benefit every professional associated with the foreclosure industry", adding that it will grant real estate professionals improved access to foreclosure listings and "break down [the] barriers" that have made the sector "more like a private club".

Overseas property investors considering purchasing homes in Orlando may wish to attend the event to learn the best approach to making a foreclosure purchase in the city.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors' Global Real Estate Weekly report recently stated that mortgage applications in the US are beginning to increase, a possible indication that the country's housing market is showing signs of recovery.
