A list of top travel destinations has found that Orlando in Florida has come out highly-placed in a number of American categories.
Forbes Traveler Magazine listed the city - which is home to Disney World and Universal Studios - as the leading location in its 15 top North American vacation locations, with New York in second and Las Vegas third.
The city is also in the top ten 'kid friendly' cities, while its Seaworld centre is among the top aquariums in the US, according to Forbes.
Such features may help maintain Orlando as a leading resort in the US, meaning those investing in holiday property are able to attract plenty of renters.
Last month, it was noted that recent price falls in property across Florida have made both Orlando and a number of destinations previously considered out of reach for British buyers more affordable.
Director at property firm Mayfair International Realty Annette Reeve advised that as a result buyers can now get "a much nicer house in Orlando than you would have been able to four years ago".
