The number of individuals looking to buy property in the US could be set to grow after it was claimed that Florida, New York and California will be among the most popular destinations for Brits this year.
According to the US Travel Association, the three cities will continue to be popular with tourists as a result of low prices and the large number of flights available.
"Florida and California attract the long stay holidaymaker and families, with New York attracting City Breaks and stop overs," Stella Clery-Ackland, a spokeswoman for the association, said.
"Kissimmee offers exceptional value for money, which is why we believe they will see significant growth in the central Florida market, as the British visitors are projected to be seeking more value for money."
Meanwhile, Garrett Kenny, chief executive officer of CB Feltrim, told Overseas Property Professional that potential investors should act now if they want to capitalise on the wealth of distressed property available in the US market.
