Property sellers in the US have said they are optimistic about being able to sell their properties after advertising them online.
Bartlett's Landing, New Jersey waterfront property owner Sandra Englund and two neighbours looking to sell up switched to the tactic when they found themselves unable to find a buyer through normal means, the Daily Advance reports.
The trio are also offering prospective buyers the chance to do multiple viewings on the same day, which could offer potential purchasers more opportunities to find a property they like.
Ms Englund said: "I'd like to have the home sold by the end of July, but I think it will be sold by August."
Those looking to buy a US property may find the online route is the most successful for them.
US housing demand could after news emerged last week that the price slump appears to have ended.
Figures for the three months to July showed a 1.7 per cent quarter-on-quarter rise in prices across the country, the first national increase of this kind since 2006.
