The US property market presents individuals with a wider range of investment opportunities than ever before, it has been claimed.
According to Homesgofast.com, the real estate market across the Atlantic is a "cash buyer's dream", with investment prospects appearing in destinations not previously popular with buyers.
"We now have investors being enticed with instant money back deals from tenanted property in Detroit, Michigan, Chicago and Buffalo, Western New York State," Nicholas Marr, chief executive of the website, explain.
However, Mr Marr concedes that there will always be a market in traditional investment destinations in the US.
The number of people looking for Florida property remains high, with many viewing the tourist hot-spot as an "attractive" place to buy real estate.
"Repossessions bargains are irresistible but may become harder to find," he confirms.
Over the past year, house prices in the US have increased by 6.8 per cent, which represents the steepest annual growth in the sector since July 2006, Clear Capital has reported.
