FREE GUIDE INCLUDEDTop 10 Tips for Buying Property
Old country house with farm buildings and plot of land located in a quiet village near forest and hills 40 km away from Vratsa, Bulgaria. The house is almost 100 years old. It represents an old architectural style dating back to the 1920`s. In those days the place was the first shop/bar in the village. Now many decades later the place is empty as the previous owners had passed away and their relatives are living in a different region in Bulgaria and do not have the time to look after the property. The house consists of two floors connected via internal wooden staircase. The ground floor has a big lobby/living room which in the past used to be the saloon. From this premise one can enter into the kitchen (located to the left), the storage room and basement (located to the right) or go through a corridor and reach the staircase. The second floor has a corridor with small balcony, two bedrooms and another wooden staircase leading to the attic floor. There one can find two additional rooms which were used first as guest rooms and more recently as storage area. Next to the house is a small annex with one big premise used as a kitchen in the old days. Most of the yard is at the back of the house where one can also find an old barn and several small storage buildings. The property had been abandoned for some time now which explains why it is in the condition visible on the photos. With some time and money invested in it, this property can be revived and converted into a great rural retreat. The nice and flat yard provides a lot of open space which can be used for a variety of purposes. The existing outbuildings and the barn can be demolished and the materials from them used for the construction of a garage, storage area, etc. About 200-300 meters away from the house one can find a small stream while a dam is situated about 4 km away from the village. The property is located on the main road, next to a bus stop and about 200-300 meters away from the center of the village, shop and cafe-bar. The surrounding area is nice and quiet. Cheap house with character, specific architectural style and rich history waiting for new owners.
