Old country house located in a quiet village near forests and river 45 km away from Vratsa, Bulgaria. The house has two floors. The ground level consists of one big room used as basement/storage and another smaller room for tools. Over the external staircase one can go to the second floor where very big terrace, corridor, kitchen, living room and bedroom are located. The terrace can be easily transformed into a nice, usable room where lobby or a kitchen can be fitted. The property offers a spacious 2000 sq.m. plot of land which borders two other properties and the forest. There is a big barn inside the backyard. From here one can see the near forest, hills and mountains. The property had been empty for a couple of years and needs some attention, renovation and cleanup but otherwise is solid & sound. The neighbors are good and quiet people. The house is situated on the main road inside the village and is about five minutes away from the center. There one can find two shops, big café-bar, post office, the mayor`s office and bus stop. Regular bus transport to the nearest town (which is about 5 km away) is available. The surrounding area is very nice. Within 2-3 km radius from the property one can visit nice camping sites along two big rivers, great fishing spots, areas suitable for hunting, etc. The village is surrounded by a mixture of dense forests, hills, mountains and wide, open fields. About 300 meters away from the house one can visit two public fountains with nice & clean, fresh spring water. The village has about 250-300 inhabitants living here all year round. Their number doubles and triples during the weekends and the holidays. There are several houses owned by foreigners as well. Very good internet coverage and mobile reception are available in the area. Many houses in the village are used as holiday homes and belong to people mainly from Sofia that come here to spend their free time away from all the noise and crowds of the big city. The area around is agricultural and there is no industry for miles. Here visitors can enjoy peace and relaxation combined with lots of fresh air and sun. The forests and fields around provide great conditions for outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, cycling, collecting herbs, mushrooms or forest fruits, photography, etc. An old country house with lots of potential, big yard and great location at a good price.
