This villa is situated within easy walking distance to the main beach in Carvoeiro as well as all the local shops, bars and restaurants of this popular coastal town. The villa has a spacious entrance hall leading to a good sized sitting room with log burning fireplace and patio doors to an enclosed conservatory type dining area, there is an additional dining area next to the ‘L’ shaped kitchen. The large master bedroom has patio doors to an outdoor terrace and an en-suite shower room. There is a shared full bathroom for the other two bedrooms, one of which has patio doors leading to the terrace and steps to the pool and garden areas. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes. On the lower level, there is a self-contained, one bedroom apartment with a good size living room, double bedroom with built in wardrobes, fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar and full bathroom. This apartment has stairs leading up to the main house which are currently blocked off but access could easily be re-instated. In addition to the above there is also a studio apartment, also self-contained, with bed / sitting room, kitchen and shower room. The pool area has a large terrace and BBQ area as well as a choice of seating areas to enjoy the lovely views to the sea or relax in the shade. The villa sits on a large plot of 1,900m2 with plenty of outdoor space to create a lovely garden, there are also outbuildings for storage, one of which could be a fantastic entertaining area. Carvoeiro was a traditional, small fishing village surviving on the tuna catches but has, not surprisingly, become an incredibly popular resort with visitors and has developed to keep pace. The town beach, Praia do Carvoeiro is a beautifully sheltered sandy bay and spreads out just in front of the square with cliffs protecting it on either side. There are bars and cafés ideally placed around the square to still enjoy the view when you leave the beach! One thing you won't be short of in Carvoeiro is somewhere to eat and drink! There is a huge selection of bars, restaurants and cafés all within easy walking distance of the vila and with a wide choice of food. The cliff tops around Carvoeiro offer plenty of scope for walking and some great views. You may also come across some 'algares' which are holes in the cliff where the sea has eaten it away from underneath - there are some near the lighthouse at Cabo de Carvoeiro. Also on the cliff above Carvoeiro are the remains of the walls of the Fort of Senhora da Conceição dating from the 17th century, inside which is the hermitage of Nossa Senhora da Encarnação (Our Lady of the Incarnation).
