This coupled with the fact that there are a number of other nationalities living here permanently ensures a stable population and makes it a place to visit throughout the year. The best months for sunny weather are from early spring through to late autumn and the winter months can be surprisingly warm and sunny.The local beach is well maintained and is a favorite with fishermen. Other activities in the area include boat trips, horse riding, water sports, golf etc. The renowned Desert Springs Golf Resort is only a few minutes drive away.It is possible to drive to Granada within two and half hours giving you access to the ski slopes over the winter months. But what for the future? The high speed rail link is now under construction which will link the area with Madrid. In addition the new Paramount Studios are now under construction and being less than an hour away will allow people to visit the Studios whilst having a beach holiday. Both these benefits, coupled with the existing infrastructure, must make buying in the area a good investment especially with current bargain prices.
