This fabulous detached villa is a large 4 bedroom 3 bathroom home. It wa built for the present owners in 2004.
The house is situated on a tarmaced country road 5 minutes drive (15 minutes easy walk) from the typical Spanish village of Estacion de Puerto Lumbreras.
This village has 2 supermarkets, a chemist, a medical centre, a multi-purpose store and a selection of bars and restaurants.
There is a Sunday market, bus service to the town of Puerto Lumbreras, an easy 15 mins. drive to the Town of Lorca and also a country railway station with trains to the coast and to Lorca &amp;amp; Murcia. The Mediterranean coast is a pleasnan 20 mins drive from the property to the town of Aguilas.
To the front of Los Olivos is a purpose built wall with iron raiilings and an electrically controlled steel gate. The whole property is on 6050 sq. metres which wa, originally, an olive grove. There are 101 olive trees.
The long drive has a turning circle in front of the large garage &amp;amp; combined workshop. To the side of the garaga is an archway leading to the vegetable garden and outside storage area. To the other side of the garage is a separate room which houses the oil storage tank. This supplies oil to the central heating system in the house, thus providing safety and ease or re-fuelling. Steps lead from the pool deck to the solarium on the garage roof.
TO the side of the house is a 9 x 4 swimming pool with a depth of 1.5 m. This together with the outside bad and dining aream bbq area and 2 further patio areas is completely enclosed by insect protective screening thus providing a fly &amp;amp; wasp free environment in which to swim, eat, drink and relax. On the pool deck, there is a walk-in shower, a pool toilet and a pool machinery &amp;amp; equipment store. Adjacent to the pool deck there is a further very large sub-bathing area. There is a pergola/sitting area which overlooks the 11.5m x 5m petanque (bowls) court. This area in unscreened. Steps lead down to the back graden, behind the house, where there are completely open views over the countryside towards the distant mountains.
There is an insect-screened terrace to the front of the house and the front door opens into a wide entrance hall which widdens even more towards the stairs. From the hall are 2 bedrooms each with spacious fitted wardroves and each has an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet, bidet, wash basin and one of these bathrooms has a corner bath.
Also from the hall is a separate guest toilet and wash basin.
Double doors open from the hall into the lounge/dining room which is 8.7m x 5m. One wall of the lounge is stone-clad and has a "log-effect" electric fire with an imitation chimney all set in a granite fireplace. From the dining area is a door to the kitchen, which also has a door to the entrance hall.
The kitchen is 25 sqm, comaing fully fitted with induction hob, eye level oven/microwave and a larder-fridge, double sink in the centre island with under storage and high quality granite on the worktop.
A breakfast nook with a glass block wall opens from the kitchen and a further door leads into the utility room coming fully fitted, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a sink.
The hot water for the whole house is provided by the oil-fired central heating.
The granite starirs from the hall lead to a large balustrade landing with a walk-in storage cupboard.
In the upper floor we can find 2 further bedrooms, both 15 sq metres and also a 3rd bathroom with a walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet.
A door opens on to a balcony 25 sq metres which overlooks the swimming pool, terraces, back garden and open contryside.
On the balcony there is a satellite dish to receive Sky and free-view programmes as well as a Spanish digital aerial.
There are ceiling fans thoughout the house and many electric sockets in all areas.
Outside lightning is also fitted. The floors are tiled throughout with cream/fawn tiles and non-slip tiles surround the swimming pool.
This house is large but comfrotable, situatued in a semi-rural area of Spain. It is not Costa contry or Britlan although there is a small, active, mainly British population.
The area is very friendly and helpful and has the advantage of Lorca Golf and Spa Resort only 15 min dirve away.
